Digital economy has drastically boosted since remote jobs online have become more and more common for people around the world. In fact, according to Forbes, 2020 is going to be the year of working remotely. From companies increasing the size of their remote teams, to new businesses seeking talented people from around the world, everyone is dipping their toes in the online world and we are absolutely here for it. Remote jobs online do not just offer the flexibility to work from home or from anywhere in the world: they have become a new and strategic way of diversifying one’s income, to improve work-life satisfaction and contribute to the growth of economy over all.
The myths that people once had about working online are quickly disappearing and now, all we see is the way remote jobs online are changing the lives of our friends, our partners, or our coworkers. However, for people who live in the Caribbean or in Africa, working online still feels like something unattainable and unreal. One of the main reasons is, people are concerned about falling prey to scams. Another reason is, people don’t know where to look for jobs online, where to find companies that are hiring, or even how to get started working online. But here is the good news though: there is data on all this, and there is a safe, and reliable way to land remote jobs online at real companies that are hiring.

How did I come up with this list of Remote Jobs Online?
I teach a course called Making Money Online for Beginners. Every week, I send a remote jobs directory to my students (located around the world, including the Caribbean islands and Africa). The directory gives them direct access to companies that are currently hiring people remotely (online). The list is updated every week, so they receive a first-hand pick of new job opportunities based on their specific skill set.
I decided to extend access to this list to other people who might need it. If you live in the Caribbean and are looking to get a remote job online, then you’re in luck. In this article, I share with you 10 companies that are currently hiring talent from all over the world, and in different arenas of expertise: from customer service to marketing, sales, technology or even human resources.
Why I chose to focus on the Caribbean?
Well, 90% of online work opportunities are open to people who live in the USA, Canada and Europe. Because of this, people who live in other places around the world (and are equally equally qualified) might feel like online jobs are not attainable for them. So I looked through all the websites and resources that I normally use to find jobs (for my students and I), dug them in and out to find out which of the companies were hiring people located outside of the USA and Canada, and internationally. So here, you have it!
At least for now, you can see at least 10 companies who are looking for talent from all around the world, including the Caribbean. So, if at this time you are looking for remote jobs online and you live in the Caribbean, this would be helpful.
#1 – Time Doctor: Job Opening for a Customer Service Specialist
If you have experience working with customer service in any field, then this job opening is for you. Time Doctor is looking for an experienced Customer Service Ninja to help boost their sales and grow their customer base. For anyone who has had experience dealing with customers for small and large companies, this might be your opportunity! They are specifically looking for someone who has experience in onboarding new customers.
