But for my first solo travel experience in Whistler, I was looking for something more serene, more unique and a boutique hotel that would give me a sense of place, while being in close proximity to the best things to do in Whistler during a short trip. So, when I got the opportunity to be hosted at the Crystal Lodge in Whistler, I was excited to experience what this Whistler boutique hotel had to offer. From modern amenities to a convivial and welcoming atmosphere at the heart of the Whistler Village, there are a lot of things that I loved about my stay at this Whistler boutique hotel.

When it comes to exploring a city for the first time, staying at a hotel that is centrally located and close to everything is very important to me. While looking for lodging options in Whistler, I noticed that the Crystal Lodge was at the heart of the village and would give me access to everything: restaurants and bars, shops and hot spots. This makes it easier to move around.I loved that the Crystal Lodge offers an exceptional blend of luxury, comfort, and convenience. The Crystal Lodge is also an ideal lodging choice for ski enthusiasts and adventure seekers who are traveling to Whistler during the ski season. After a day on the slopes or exploring the village, imagine how easy it would be to just return to the comfort of your room to unwind and relax at one of the best boutique hotels in Whistler. And if you are exploring in the spring (like I did), summer or fall, then you can retire to your modern and chic hotel room at the end of a packed adventure day.

At the Crystal Lodge Whistler, I stayed at the deluxe king suite and it provided all the space and comfort that I needed for a 3-day weekend in Whistler. The room was spacious enough to allow me to roam around freely, and would definitely be comfortable and convivial for a family of 2 (or 3).
For larger families, you can opt for a one-bedroom king suite which features an even larger space and a kitchen where you can make some meals. And regardless of the room choice you pick, other amenities (like doggy essentials and youth robes) are available on request.
The bathroom, with a chic and modern vibe, had a deep soaker tub perfect for long, warm baths to kick off my unwinding ritual at the end of the day. There was no way not to feel that feeling of “alpine luxury” during my stay at the Crystal Lodge, easily one of the best boutique hotels in Whistler. And with the kind, attentive and convivial care of the staff, I felt right at home within the walls of this charming Whistler boutique hotel.
Some rooms at the Crystal Lodge Whistler offered panoramic views of the village. As for mine, I had a direct view of the pool and jacuzzi area, which made it easy for me to spot the perfect time to take a dip, be it day or night, uninterrupted…

Whistler hotels with pools are not easy to find, unless you are willing to spare a pretty penny for your experience! It was heartwarming to know that for a room rate at the Crystal lodge Whistler, you get access to the outdoor pool and a warm jacuzzi! Imagine taking a dip after a ski or snowboarding session, or simply immersing yourself after a long day of adventures, exploring the Whistler village and the Whistler blackcomb region! In addition to this, the Crystal Lodge Whistler also offers self-care essentials such as a hot stone sauna and access to a 24-hour gym, especially if you care about staying fit and active when you travel, like me.

I think this boutique hotel in Whistler is ideal if you are looking for a homebase for all your activities in Whistler during your trip, and a serene place to rest, relax and recover in between experiences. The hotel features a hot stone sauna and a gym for workouts, as well as an outdoor pool and a jacuzzi. There are also restaurants within the building, where you can stop by for a bite for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

There are so many things to do in Whistler in the spring and summer. Although Whistler is popular for being a winter and alpine destination, this tourist village offers a wide range of adventures and experiences for every type of traveler. During my trip to Whistler, I enjoyed strolling through the charming pedestrian-only streets to explore boutique shops, art galleries, and unique local stores. I also loved dining outside at various restaurants, and took time for some outdoor experiences such as hiking on the best Whistler hiking trails and taking a helicopter ride above the blackcomb mountains with Alpx Expeditions.
