Travel to the Caribbean
From exquisite beaches to delicious cuisine, an inviting culture and an “ever-happy” people, the Caribbean has been a travel destination for international tourists for many centuries. People have fell in love with the Caribbean region so much so that some picked it as a retirement destination. I have had the privilege to explore this region for at least 8 years. Caribbean islands have a lot to offer, a lot more than beautiful white and black sand beaches. Dominica is known for untainted nature and refreshing rivers. If you love hiking, outdoor adventures, natural spas, diving and waterfalls, this is where you should go. If you want to experience the bliss of pure white sand beaches, Barbados is the caribbean destination for you. If you want to party like they do in the islands, head to St Vincent and the Grenadines, Jamaica or The Bahamas. And the list goes on. There is a perfect Caribbean destination for everyone under the sun.
How to be safe when you travel to the Caribbean
I have had the privilege to visit 7 Caribbean islands so far: Dominica (my home away from home), Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, Guadeloupe, St Lucia and St Vincent. Generally, the locals are very friendly and welcoming. This is one of the things I was grateful for when I first traveled to Dominica. Nonetheless, general safety rules apply. Avoid going out at night alone, do not frequent poorly lit areas, and refrain from brandishing gaudy jewelry.
